The Business Economics & New TeChnology Laboratory (B.E.NE.TeC.) was established in October 2004 by the Senate of the University of Crete.

B.E.NE.TeC. Laboratory’s mission is to produce world-class research output in fields relevant to Business Economics and their interdependence with New Technologies.

B.E.NE.TeC.'s main goals are to:

• Use the state-of-the art methodologies in economics and management science, tackling issues from a global perspective with refer to advances in Information Technology and their applications in contemporary business models.
• Bring together academics with people from the business sector, acting in favour of corporate development and technology transfer and enabling companies operating in the dynamically evolving business environment.
