Getting to the Department

How to get to Crete and to Rethymno:

By plane: Rethymno has no airport, but there are several flights everyday from Athens to Chania and Heraklio. Domestic airlines, which fly regularly to Crete, are:

From airports to Rethymno:

By taxi: A taxi from Chania to Rethymno takes 50 minutes and from Heraklio to Rethymno journey time is a little over 60 minutes and costs approximately 45-50 euros.

By taxi: From the town of Rethymno it takes less than 15 minutes to reach the University Campus.
