Mission
The Department's objectives are to:
• Cultivate and promote the psychological
science through academic teaching and research implementations.
• Provide students with the essential resources, in theoretical,
research and
practical training, that will allow them to participate in the development
of
psychological knowledge and hence have the essentials for successful future
careers.
These objectives are achieved
through the Undergraduate Program of Studies, which is designed
to offer α well-balanced and wide
training in fundamental areas of psychology organized around
seven “circles”, which include a wide spectrum of courses:
1. Fundamental Principles of Psychology
2. Methodology & Statistics
3. Developmental-School Psychology
4. Biopsychology & Neurosciences
5. Social & Political Psychology
6. Clinical & Health Psychology
7. Other courses
The wide spectrum of
courses offered within the seven “circles”, comprises
the basic structure of the Undergraduate Program of
Studies.
