The University of Crete Research Centre (UCRC)

The University of Crete Research Center for the Humanities, the Social Sciences and the Sciences of Education (UCRC) is an autonomous interdisciplinary research unit, superintended by the Senate of the University of Crete.

It has research laboratories, hosts academic projects, and welcomes programs related to self-funded postgraduate studies held by the aforementioned Schools (Humanities, Social Sciences, Education).

UCRC aims to promote research excellence and strives to expand research boundaries on national and international funding opportunities, aiming to intensify synergies and boost collaborative practices. Its Research Support Unit and website provide both information and guidelines regarding calls, writing and submission of proposals. It hosts events, seminars and conferences, which focus both on high-priority research topics and effective research practices. UCRC is committed to linking theory with practice and science with society.
